GUIDE TO USING USML LIBRARY eBooks

USML library's collection of eBooks includes course reading materials, primary and secondary source information for research, and eBooks for leisure reading. The library's two main providers of eBooks are EBSCOhost and ProQuest (see further provider information below). Library eBooks can be found by searching the online library catalog and are available to read online or to download to your computer, laptop, or tablet (via the mobile reading apps listed below).

Reading eBooks Online

The eBooks are available through two main providers: EBSCOhost eBooks and Proquest eBook Central (EBL). All of the eBooks can be read online without being downloaded. You can take notes, and print or copy portions of the ebook while in the online mode.

Downloading eBooks
The eBooks can be downloaded to your computer or mobile device. Downloaded ebooks are protected with Digital Rights Management (DRM) so you will need to create an Adobe ID and authorize your computer or mobile device with Adobe. To download an ebook to a Windows computer or a MAC, install Adobe Digital Editions or BlueFire Reader on your desktop or laptop. To download an eBook to your iOS or Android mobile device, you must first download the Adobe Digital Editions mobile app or Bluefire Reader app. Click the images below for more information on Adobe Digital Editions and BlueFire Reader and learn how you can install these e-reader applications to your computer (PC) or download them  to your mobile device or tablet (iOS & Android) today.
